If I had a $25 Gift Certificate to Amazon.com

Then I could have bought 2 of the cookbook I bought today, and it would have cost me nothing.

Amazon.com and half.com are my favorite places to buy cookbooks, so I am having an Amazon give-away.

Just comment on this post. Make any (appropriate) comment and you'll be entered in a drawing to win. Then you could get this book I've been wishing for

Or maybe this pan, if you like brownie edges.

Holly I love brownie edges, but maybe not as much as I love brownie batter. there was a failed attempt by ben and jerry's to bottle the goodness of brownie batter in an ice cream, and cold stone has somewhat successfully contained the flavor of cake batter, but I was wondering if you could make something with brownie batter/ brownie batter flavor that's not just brownie batter (although I would be fine with recipe for a really delicious brownie batter as well).

I've been a major baker lately and just found David Lebovitz's site. I would love to get one of his cookbooks!

kimmy-

Funny you should mention brownie batter ice cream. I just went to an ice cream shop on monday and they had many interesting flavors including brownie batter. I wanted to try it, but after sampling 6 or 7 of my top choices, I couldn't bring myself to waste more of the ice cream scoopers time.

I went with chocolate turtle and Coconut fudge.

I'm taking you to that ice cream shop whenever you come to my house. its delicious.

But what else with brownie batter? Soda? (Jones, are you hearing this?)

Oh man! Great minds think alike, yeah? Being an ice cream fanatic myself, I've been hankering for David's book! With the brownie edge pan, we could do a crisp, crunchy double (dare I say, triple?!?!?) chocolate brownie ice cream? *EVIL LAUGH*

Thanks to your sis, Toni, I found your blog...YUM! I even told a friend at the preschool I teach at about your yummy cheesecake pops. I like to cook, but don't b/c I sneak more than I should. HAHA! However, it's funny your put the crazy brownie pan on here. I just told Richard that my mom, Jewel would love that brownie pan. She loves edges. I should lead her to your site. Maybe her or Dare can whip me up something yummy when we are in town.
Enjoy your kitchen time!

There are chocolate Skittles now and one of their flavors is brownie batter. It's disgusting. But I do love brownie edges, therefore I would love that pan.

Oh my goodness. I live for brownie edges. The edge is the only part I'll truly indulge. Brownie edges and corn muffin edges (if you've got the right recipe). Both of these blessings assuredly came from heaven.

That pan is interesting, i've never seen one to make only brownie edges before. Super cool!

I would have never thought to look for a brownie edge pan...but after all, the edges are the best part. Then you get the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. Love it.
